It’s crazy, at this hour of the morning. It’s like the phrase “it’s always darkest just before they turn on the lights”. Except I’m awake and watching those darkest hours. And I’m patient as they turn on the lights. I accept that another day has begun and I fall asleep reassured that there will still be a day to wake up to.
I’m in Justin’s room at 6 am. In the absolute most comfortable bed I will probably ever sleep in. Laying down and sprawled out. With the lights on in a blanket fort. About to watch law and order: svu.
